Help, slide stuck on frame

Howdy,
Dumb a** (me) here needs some help.

I've been considering getting a grip reduction/cut down on my G17 that would recontour the grip and also shorten it to allow it to accept G19 mags.

I was wondering what it would look like and how it would feel/balance, so I took the G17 slide and put it on the G19 frame to get a sense. But like a dumb a** I slid it a little too far back and I believe the takedown lever seems to have ridden over the recoil spring guide rod and seems to be lodged too far forward, probably between two spring coils.

Now, of course, I can't get the damn slide off the frame.

Any advice (besides "stop being a dumb a**") would be greatly appreciated.

Lock the slide back and disassemble the slide to remove the striker and it will slide right off.

The problems was that the G17 and G19 have different locking lugs on the barrel.
