I'm one of those people that loves my Glocks, but that arch in the backstrap just does not fit my hand. My hands are larger than average, it's the shape, not the size. I got a G22 Glock frame to practice on, but would like to do it right the 1st time and turn it into my main car gun. Just what do you fill that empty cavity with before grinding the arch off? I was thinking of Acraglass gel epoxy from Brownells. Will it stick to the slick Glock polymer or just slip out after it dries? What do the pros use?
TIA,
Allan Schisel
If you drill holes through the backstrap and into the mag well, then apply tape over the holes in the magwell, then any sort of binary epoxy, from AcraGlas to JB Weld to Bond-O, ought to work well.
Are you planning to install an Agrip or anything like that? The look might not be real nice unless the color and tone is very close between the glue and the rest of the grip.
Good luck.

A Hogue finger groove grip will cover the ugly area. I'll put black pigment in the Acgraglas, so it should be close in color if some shows through the top or bottom. I'll get it smooth enough so it looks OK under the Houge grip.
