What is the best and most reliable way to obtain a true 3.5 to 4lb trigger on Glocks?
Some prefer the standard connector with lighter striker/heavier trigger springs, others like the 3.5 connector. What is your experience?

If it is not a 17L or 34 which come with the 3.5lb trigger, I would purchase the competition trigger unit from Glockmeister, with the overtravel stop screw in place.

I have done this with 5 Glocks so far, and the factory Glock competition 3.5lb trigger group from Glockmeister with the overtravel stop screw in place. This feels better to me than just adding a 3.5lb connecter to the stock 5.5lb trigger the Glocks come with. ;f

I've installed Ghost 3.5# "Rockets" in both my 24C and 34, as well as changing out both the stiker and trigger springs.

If you take your time and actually fit the trigger control tab on the connector, you can eliminate all overtravel. It even reduces some of the take-up on the trigger. The result is very rewarding.

I installed the Wolff Trigger Group Competition Pak in my 34. I measured my trigger pull with the Lyman electronic scale and it was around 2.5 to 2.75 lbs depending where on the trigger I pulled it. I love this setup! It is one sweet shooting Glock!

Thanks for the help. Looking for crisp 3.5-4.0 lb. More than one way to get there.

here is what i have on my g17 and g35

-.25 cent trigger job.
-glock oem 3.5 connector
-wolff 5 pd trigger spring
-wolff 4 pd striker spring
-lightning strikes titanium plunger.

also while doing the .25 cent trigger job ,
i lightly sanded (removed the machine marks)
on the part of the striker that mates to the cruciform.

this resulted in a very light trigger pull with almost no over travel.

some people on this board raised the concern about changing springs and mis fires...

so far i have no issue.

grecco, Have you measured your pull weight? I'm guessing just under 3 pounds with that setup.
I haven't had any trouble at all with the 4 lb striker springs. I've been spoiled by the 3.5-4 lb pulls on my other pistols and don't do well with a 5 lb pull on such a light weight pistol.
