Just bought a Beta 100 round mag. How much and when do I apply the graphite ? If you have one are you happy with it ?

Posts about Betas are no good without pics! We want pics!
Now, back to the question -- I'm quite happy with mine, though it's been used little. Hell, I've never even lubed it. I think I've run 3 full drums through, and probably an extra 100 or so rounds with 20 stacks here and there.
I think the manual that comes with it will advise on when to lube. I guess I'd do it when binding starts.
I have taken it apart because I have another feed tower for my HK93. Pay attention on the first time. After that, it's like clockwork. Oh yeah, when you do disassemble, put down some newspapers; it's messy!

I agree with USMCsilver, I've ran 2 or 3 hundred though mine without lube, no hangups yet. I've thought about doing it after 500, just to be safe.

Err, I think that is a hair beyond overkill. Sounds like that could actually lead to problems.

25-30 Beta Dumps, I have learned what works for me in Texas weather conditions (105 today). YMMV.

Well, as long as it's runnin' I guess you're good to go. Not trying to sound like a smartass here, but what does the temperature have to do with lubing a mag with graphite?

Hotter and more humid requires more lubrication, IME.

Okay, humidity is justifiable, but not heat; understood.
FWIW, I'm in SC, we usually have 90% humidity. I just don't see myself using that much graphite. Ever consider just letting your hair down and running it w/out lubing for a while...just to see what happens?
