Im sure this is normal for Glock because they have loose torlances but if you sake the gun is it normal to have the slide rattle a bit.
Im paranoid about little things like that thxs.;g

Are you sure its the slide rattling and not the firing pin inside its chamber?

Its the slide, it happens when I sake the gun from side to side.
Sure; looser tolerances make for better reliability.
With the "Match Grade" 1911s you see around, their slides are usually tightened until they refuse to function on that frame, and then they are slowly brought back to the ragged edge of reliability with (hopefully) an incredible gain in accuracy.
But I can shoot my G30, with it's 3.5# connector and $0.25 trigger job, better than I can anyone else's $2000 'custom' single-action auto.
Maybe if I had an accurized 1911 to shoot regularly I'd learn to shoot better with that than I can with the Glock, but, hey, what I got works, so if it ain't broke....!;f ;a ;f
Besides, the Glocks need that extra space to move sand into when they get torture tested! ;g ;P ;e ;P ;g

I agree I can shoot my 23 much better than my buds 1000 plus 1911s
