Does this remove items as completely as a multi-pass operation from "Web Washer" or similar programs that equal D.O.D. specs?

No it's just a cleanup utility. For security use something like Eraser.

If you just want to erase your history and passwords,Ccleaner does a fairly good job of that.If you are giving away the PC try the other prrogram above or wipe the entire drive. That program can be used to wipe the entire or just remove your sensitive data that you choose to remove.

I really appreciate the responces you give to technical questions here on the Tech Forum but is this some sort of compulsive behavior to post multiple posts to answer 1 question?

The posts were spaced across a lot of time.

Looks like almost 60 days between the last 2. 9-1-05 to 10-28-05.

And it's "post whore" not "post monger" ;f ;e

LOL.

DC is worth his weight in gold.

He should mod this forum, the other two guys listed as mods are regular no shows.

Someone that cares enough to reply to all the noobs is rare.

Eric, mod him already.
