View Full Version : Purchasing G38
I will hopefully be purchasing a G38 this Sat. (my second Glock) I just have one question if I live in Florida and I have a concealed weapon/firearm liscence do I still have to wait three days to pick up my G38?
Nevermind I got the answer I was looking for and that is, there is no waiting. Now I can't wait for the weekend to get hear so I can try out my new G38. Can anybody give me a preview on what I'm in for when I go the range, my other Glock is a G19.
The weight and balance of the G38 will feel even better than your G19, but the G38 will not fit in your G19 holster.
Thanks Danny I was wandering about the holster, guess I'll pick one up along with my Glock.
I doubt you will find a holster locally. I ordered mine from www.blade-tech.com and it was worth the 5 week wait.

I trust Danny's opinion and if he likes the Bladetech Im sure it is as he says, but another option for holsters for your 38 (if you like leather) is to try a holster made for a G30 - might not be a perfect fit, but its doggone close.
I have a Wilson Combat G21/30 holster that I use with my G37 and I bet a box of Krispy Kremes that a 38 would be feel right at home in it.
Thanks for the info. fellas, anymore you have is welcomed.

I believe Comp-Tac makes (some) Kydex holsters specifically for GAP Glocks.

In GA it took 30 seconds on the phone for the dealer to clear me the first time I bought in this state. Now, I don't know if I should be pleased that I have such a clean record, or be concerned that it was so easy.

It doesn't even take that long. In GA, if you already have your Firearms License, that means a background check has already been done. So you can take it with you, when you're done purchasing it and filling out the paperwork.

Mine had expired, so had to do full renewal...back to the 10 week wait....
