View Full Version : G21 rifling question
Could someone please post a pic of the rifling of the G21 ? I bought a used G21 and the rifling grooves does not look very deep so i wanted to see one to compare.
thanks highway
The G21, like all Glocks, uses polygonal rifling.
It looks shallower than standard rifling found in most guns.

Glock 45's use octagonal profile!
9's ,357,and.40's are hexagonal
No pic, but the rifling doesn't look like what you're used to. The lands on a Glock look more like small bumps rather than conventional rifling having large, square lands and well defined grooves cut.
Here's a shot of my G36 barrel.
You can hardly see the rifling.
Thanks, that looks like mine. I guess i was used to looking at s&w riflings.
thanks again
