Hello,
The purpose of this thread is to find out what, in your experience, what is the MOST accurate target ammunition. For my Glock 17 ( 9mm ), I have found that Sellier and Belliot, and recently Winchester 100 round value pack, marked "Improved Accuracy Bullet" on the top seem to be the most accurate. I have also tried Wolf ammunition at the range, but I was not satisfied with that brand's accuracy. The accuracy for the 9mm and ALL other calibers that Glock makes guns for will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently switched from WWB 9mm to a competition ammo from Lancer Ammo in North Carolina (www.lancerammo.com). It's a 147 gr bullet loaded to 875 fps (although mine recently chrono'd at 858). The recoil is significantly less than the WWB and I find that my follow up shots are faster and more accurate. I've shot it in my Beretta 92G Vertec and Glock 17 with very satisfying results. The company is also great to deal with -- fast shipment and good quality ammo. I haven't had a single failure in 1000 rounds.
Hope this helps,
Jim

HI,
Is this the ammo that was selling at the NC State Idpa? I ment to order a thousand to try some. (good price)
I use Atlanta Arms-(Sevigny and Julie were using it before), Its great and soft(885 out of a 17 & 920 from a 34). I have been very impressed with its accurcy(so have my friends who also are using it). Call Danny at 770-464-2203 for details.
Good Luck

I realize this may not be the answer you want to hear, but the most accurate target ammunition is certainly not manufactured; it's handloaded.

The most accurate target ammo I've found in 9mm, .40, and 357sig is American Eagle. In .40 and 357sig, Speer Lawman is right up there also. WWB isn't very accurate in my guns, but I have not tried the new "improved accuracy rounds". Of all the ammo I've shot in 357sig,WWB has the most muzzle flash.

I'm with Navy87Guy on this one.
I am now 800 rounds into a case I purchased a couple weeks ago. The competition rounds shoot flawless with a lot less recoil, and more accurate than the WWB. I will be placing an order for another case shortly. I highly recommend checking them out. D

I have done extensive testing on both factory and hand loaded ammo for my G34 and Kimber 1911 9mm. Two of my favorite factory loads for accuracy are Federal American Eagle 124 gr. JRN in Non-Toxic. It is extremely accurate and power factors at approx. 134. The same Federal A.E. 124 JRN (not Non-Toxic) power factors at nearly 140. The other is Remington UMC 115 JHP. Again, very accurate, and power factors at about 138. Both loads are reasonably priced through outfits like Natchez. When you get geared up to reload, let me know, I've got some good recipes you can try.
