View Full Version : 520 cubic inches, twin 70mm turbos and a serious need for wheelie bars
Makes my two 550rwhp turbo Buicks seem insignificant by comparison.;f
He seriously needs to learn NOT to turn the wheel while the front end is in the air. What I do is pin my left elbow in between my body and the rollcage so I can't turn the wheel. I make corrections only with my wrist, not my entire arm. If the car is set up right and the track can hold the power, all you should need is wrist movement to make corrections to keep the car straight. If by chance you need more than small wrist movement to bring the back end around, you need to abort the run anyway.
If you pay attention, he is peddling that car and it's still yanking the front end in the air with every touch of the throttle. Very fast spooling turbos (520" will do that for you ;)). He has more than enough engine and turbo on that car to make well in excess of 2000hp.
That thing probably would have broken the bars anyways.
