I called the shop today to see if they had a G34 in OD green with fixed sights...was told none in stock and would check with the distributor..called back and said he could not get one in OD green, none were available and this gun only comes with adjustable sights!!! i thought fixed sights were an option on this gun??? are the adjustable sights the same crappy ones that glock used to put on several years ago..I dont want to order one with adjustable sights then have to pay and extra $50 just to have fixed sights, and no OD green:(
Any suggestions?????????

I was looking for an OD G34 as well when I bought mine. They couldnt locate one for me either. The main reason I wanted a OD model was just for the look so I settled on the regular black G34.
My G34 came with the standard glock fixed sights, so I know it can be had that way. They kind of suprised me (I was expecting Adj sights) but I was happy to see them.

Did you get a price break on the standard sight version?
The best thing to do is not worry about the sights, they should go in the trash and be replaced with steel ASAP.
Yes they are the same crappy adjustable Glock sights. There are very few G34-35 models out there with fixed sights, but they do exist. The adjustable sights should only add about $20.
Take them off and sell them on Ebay. I usually have gotten $15-$20 for them.

My G34 came through a distributer whose business is probably 90% LEO. It came with fixed sights and a 5.5 lb connector. I have no reason to believe anybody "swapped parts" on it before it came to me.

Just look at the label on the box that the gun came in, it'll say what the gun was shipped with.

They didnt take anything off the price they had quoted me.
I paid $525 for mine.
I just picked one up w/ fixed sights. This is now my favorite Glock. Paid $480 NIB w/ 3 mags. Swapped the fixed sights out for Heinie's.

Speaking as an employee (for now) of one of the nations largest firearms distributors, I can tell you that not everyone has access to the 34/35's with fixed sights. It seems to generally be an item gotten through law enforcement distribution channels. This is not to say that we would NEVER receive any of them since when we get the factory rebuilt guns, pretty much anything goes. We've even seen guns lately that have the "discontinued" Meprolight night sights factory installed. Guess old Gaston tripped over a pallet of them in the warehouse and wanted them gone. ^8
