9mm KKM conversion barrel in G35 legal for USPSA?

I recently traded for a G35. My intention was to put a 9mm KKM conversion barrel in the gun and use it to shoot 9mm in Production class. I thought I would shoot production for a year or so and then when I was ready to shoot limited or open I would use it as a .40 platform to build a custom race gun.

Is the 9mm conversion barrel legal in Production Class? I've read the rules, and it says that replacement (OEM or aftermarket not specificed) if the length is the same as the stock barrel. It doesn't say anything about caliber conversion.

i doubt it. I would just download yoru 40cal to 125pf and shoot the G35.

I was hoping to avoid reloading for the next twelve months. Have a lot on my plate right now and would prefer to spend the time shooting rather than at the reloading bench.
