Is an "Any Other Weapon" shotgun subject to the same interstate transport restrictions that a SBR/SBS is?

18 USC 922 (a)4 (http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode18/usc_sec_18_00000922----000-.html) states:
) It shall be unlawful
...
(4) for any person, other than a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector, to transport in interstate or foreign commerce any destructive device, machinegun (as defined in section 5845 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986), short-barreled shotgun, or short-barreled rifle, except as specifically authorized by the Attorney General consistent with public safety and necessity;
AOWs and suppressors aren't listed, so you don't have to get approval for them. The BATF will approve a 5320.20 form for an AOW or suppressor if you submit one to them though.

Does "to transport in interstate or foreign commerce" just apply to if you're going to make money off of it, like sell it?? What If I had, say, an AOW shotgun, or a machinegun, or whatever and just wanted to take it to Ohio, for example, just to shoot recreationally with my uncle? Would I have to get approval for that (other than checking to see if the state even allows whichever NFA item I want to take. That would be the very first thing I'd do.)?

Yes, the form 5320.20 is to get approval to transport title II stuff that you own to another state, not for selling it.
