What do I need to change? Will a kkm barrel work? Will it give enough chamber support? What spring weight would slow the slide to acceptable speed? I'm trying to find a round for deer hunting. Thanks for any input.

Guide rods and recoil springs are all that's required. Check the sticky at the top of this forum.
