I know this looks like everybody elses G35 but it's not, it's mine and I just got it yesterday. Last night polished the internals, added the Scherer 3.5 connector, Wolff rp firing pin spring and in a fit of polishing frenzy changed all the black on the barrel hood to a mirror finish. Today I added the Heinie Slant Pros with CGR's race cut. Got my windage right on but I'm consistantly 1.5" low at 15 yards. Only 100 rds today with the new sights. I'd say it's me.

Your could get a file and make your front sight lower.

BTW, nice polishing job!

Kinda strange bumping into you here, Todd! Word of warning: I put a set of CGR race cut Heinie Straight Eights on my G34 a while back. I quickly discovered two things: (1) I positively do not like the "Straight Eight" pattern for a night sight, and (2) the POI was about 5" HIGH at 25 yards. I removed the Heinies and gave them to a range buddy who put them on his G17. For him, they shot to POA. Why the difference between these sights on a G34 versus a G17 I dunno. My G34 got a set of Mepro adjustables.

Inspired by my buddy's experience, I recently got a set of race cut Slant Pros from Matt. They do indeed shoot close enough to POA on a G17, but I've now discovered I don't like black-on-black sights anymore. I just ordered a Dawson fiber-optic front, compatible with the Heinie rear, from Matt. Only time will tell....

Hey, I'm a longslide guy now. I considered the Dawson fiber optic front but I thought I'd go Heinie front to start. I'll give it a few hundred rounds but I was consistantly putting five rounds in a quarter at 10 yards, just 1.5" low of my POA. I've always had either 3 dot Trijicons or OEM Fixed. I need to just shoot it some.

Do let me know about that. I considered that route but I've no experience with that fiber optic front. Seriously, PM about that.

I have the Heinie rear with Dawson FO front on both my 24 and 35. The sight picture is amazing. I never got use to black on black sights. Give the Dawson front a try. It will be the best 30 bucks that you could spend to improve your Glock.

The barrel hood? I just used metal polish and a felt pad on my Dremmel. The black came right off. I'd never tried it before but I decided to polish the feed ramp and right away it was shiny silver. What the heck, I did the barrel hood and I think it looks cool. Further pimping, not in the photo, I did my Slide Stop and ends of Trigger and Locking Block Pins.
