Lakeland Florida is having a huge gunshow this weekend and I was thinking of picking up an MK Elite (9mm or .40 is still undecided) for CCW.
1. Can anyone tell me what they're generally going for used?
2. Is the MK Elite 98 better than the new ones?
3. Major differences (that you guys have noticed)between the
Elites and my PM40 (trigger action, accuracy, etc.)?
Any advice would surely be appreciated.

The P series Kahrs all have the Elite trigger already, so other then weight there won't be much difference between your PM40 and an MK.
I think if you stick with .40 you'll find that the steel Kahr is more accurate when shooting fast, just because the recoil is less ... and I guess the lower recoil is the biggest difference.
just saw a MK9 online for $350. seems like a good price, but i don't know if its 'elite'.

$350 is a pretty good price ... if its not an elite you can easily upgrade the trigger to elite for next to nothing. Instructions here (http://www.glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=175493)

Call Dotty with the serial number and she can tell you if it is an elite trigger or not. My MK40 is not an elite but did come factory with the elite trigger.

Is there that much difference between the Elite triggers (As on my PM40) and the older models?

I agree with Hayseed.
When I was ordering my MK40 from Kahr,(a replacement for my K40 Covert) I asked Dottie about the adding the Elite Trigger to it and she stated that it already had it. My MK40 has a Jan 05 born date.
