View Full Version : My first FTF with the G30
I have over 1000rnds thru the G30 and finally had my first failure to feed with Wolf ammo. Only happended once and shoot 100 rounds of it. I was VERY suprised that it finally had a FTF. I did not experience any others that day and I know it was not limp wristing because my Father-in-law shot it and he can barely hold onto the gun and it did not jam on him.

Are your mag springs getting loose? With my 21 I found that when a spring gets loose FTF's are prevalent.
Also, Wolf ammo sux. I wouldn't trust it.
Anyhow, I've put several thousand rounds through it and it has been a beauty. I have, though, some of the guys at the range who have had FTF's with their G30 because of the aforementioned mag spring problem. Just a suggestion. Happy shooting!
I am pretty sure that is it just a fluke. The mag that I use is still very stiff and still hard to get 10rnds in. I have several mags, all numbered, just to simplify things. Thanks for the tip.
I would believe it was the ammo. Wolf ammo has a reputation for being dirty ammo and I had several feeding issues using it in several of my pistols. used different ammo and never had another issue. wolf is great in AK rifles and makarov pistols as far as I know.
Ditch the Wolf ammo PRONTO!
I had a FTF today. It must be my mag springs getting soft.
Last two rounds are the only ones I can't load without the ladies aid.
I did not realize these springs tire out so soon.
Need more mags anyway.
