I am looking at a 1980's vintage series 80 Mark V Officers.45
Are they dependable and good ammo feeders for a carry gun??
How about parts etc...Are they good quality.
Thanks
I have one. Its been 100% reliable. I changed to the Wilson recoil set-up and I fitted an Ed Brown barrel bushing to it. It is amazingly accurate, and really fun to shoot. I would get it if its reasonable....Good Luck!

Good springs and good mags make all the difference. Go For IT!

Thank you guys for your opinions.
King's Gun Works used to make a recoil unit for it, with a heavier than stock bushing. Needs to be fitted, the factory bushing is fragile.

I am having a new one customized by DVCustom.com, he is putting the Kings recoil system and bushing on mine with many other upgrades, this guy is amazing i have seen some of his work and the people that own his customized guns say he is the best.
Enjoy yours and if you want something done to it contact Dave Helton the owner of DVCustom.com.
