Hmm, also I came accross a WWII Micro from Springfield armory. That would make a good little .45 carry piece. Couple of Q's
1. Are the Compact .45's as reliable?
2. although it would stick out, can fulsize 7,8,10 rnd mags be used in a compackt?

Micro's and Commander sized pistols are more difficult to tune IMO, but that doesn't mean they are not reliable.

I have a SA Micro Comp. For the most part, it is very reliable. I only found out last weekend that it doesn't feed 200 gr semi wadcutters well. Most ammo is perfect though. I am very satisfied.

I have not shot it yet, but things look promising! :-)

I son't have a SA. Both both of my compact 45's like lighter bullets
185 and lighter Which I see nothing wrong with a close SD ranges.
