Well, I must say as a 20+ year die-hard 1911 shooter, that I had a great experience with my good looking carbon fiber G21 .45 ACP. I'm hooked as a new Glock lover.
The big Glock is a standout and exceptional gun and maybe so different from the Glock family, that everyone interested in the big bullet should try one (or even try one in addition to the standard size). My normal gun break-in of 230 gr. hardball .45 ACP was pleasant and quite different from all steel 1911's. My standard 1911 grip worked fine with the smooth out of the box trigger, yes smooth trigger, that created very nice groups for a production gun with stock fixed sights.
This experience proved to me once again that it's great to talk, listen and gather opinions (like too big of a frame, so so plastic triggers, etc.) but like a well built car, you need to take it for a test drive to know for sure.
And now as a 10mm and .45 shooter, I have many aftermarket options utilizing the frame. So there's a whole new world for me to further enjoy in shooting sports. I'm glad the two tone look captured my fancy, for me to really have discovered the inner beauty of big Glock.
