View Full Version : Glasses for seeing lasers in the day time?
Are there glasses available that allow you to see a laser during the day time?
I just installed a lasermax on my G30 and I can't see it @ 7yrds. during the daytime.
I just found these.

If your having difficulty seeing the laser in bright sunlight, the DISTO™ Laser Shades will solve your problem. The DISTO™ Laser Shades have red lenses which makes the laser very easy to see. Recommended for measuring up to 70 feet.
Looks like they're use for construction laser so I don't see why these wouldn't work.
Hopefully McMaster Carr carries these so I can have them by Tue. ;f
Well, McMaster Carr doesn't seem to have them, but Grainger does!
And they're only $12.24!!!

Hope this helps others that have this problem.

Yah, those are similar to the ones that came with my laser level. Quite stylish...sometimes I wear them driving, when I want that martian landscape effect. ;f

I like to wear mine along with my special hat when I go to the range:

Figure I should update this thread after shooting with my laser & these glasses a few times.
The red glasses DO help, but it's still hard to see the laser in direct sunlight around noon-time.
And it helps not to use a target with a large black circle. I turn those around and draw a little dot in the center to aim at.
Hint get rid of the laser ;)
green lasers are visable in bright daylight.
