Okay guys here is the Pics of my Kahr K40 Wilson Custom.
Sorry that I couldn't put the pics directly on the thread, but I'm not too savy on how to do it. Anyway here they are.

I don't know how to submit more than one downloads at a time. Sorry.;a
The K40 looks awesome. Does your gun have stock sights? The only other one I've handled had nightsights which I thought were standard. I don't know where I got that impression, I could be wrong. Have fun shooting it.

Thanks. Unfortunately they're just fixed sites. I'm thinking of ordering night sites for it along with the wood grips from Kahr tomarrow. I've heard that they are difficult to install on Kahrs because they're really tight. Any input? I also want them for my PM40 as well.
I don't know how difficult they are to install myself. Always have had a gunsmith (Cogan in Safety Harbor) install them. I do know that with some sights Kahr requires you to know whether your gun has the "old" dovetail or the "new" dovetail. A check of the Kahr website will clarify this. I think I have read on this board that Kahr will install for a nominal fee if you send in your slide. If they will do this, I would probably opt for this approach. You know they (Kahr) will do it right.

Yeah, I knew Kahr does it, I just don't like sending it off to have it done, I don't want to be without my Kahr. I haven't gone to Accurate Plating yet, the fact that they do install night sites (thanks for mentioning that) is more the route I'd like to go, so I don't have to wait forever and a day + shipping. I've been meaning to go by Cogan's shop and check it out. So do you live near Safety Harbor, Clearwater? I asked where you were from before but you never did answer. Unless you were trying to remain anonymous, if so, sorry. I'm in the Tampa Palms area.
Did you check out either of the show in Manatee or Lakeland this weekend?
I've installed night sights on 3 Kahr's so far, with no problems at all. I'm using a Meprolight Universal Sight Installer, so I guess that's cheating a little :) . They were no more difficult than Sig's or Glock's, actually maybe a little easier than my P239.

I spoke with a gentleman at the Kahr corporate office and he had said that about 100 of these were sent to Wilson for the Custom work. I'm cross checking with another gentleman at Wilson to confirm this. Damn Do I feel lucky...

I remember when Wilson offered them and they were quite expensive. It speaks to the quality of the guns that Wilson would want to be associated with them.

harrydog, kinda cool that you remembered Wilson doing the custom work on those. Yeah the guy at Wilson had said they really did like the craftmanship of the K40's.
Backdraft, Thanks for the compliment. This was one of 100 pistols that Kahr actually sent to Wilson. It was a very limited production line. The Blue on the barrel is actually a Polymer Coating that Wilson put on these guns along with all of the other work they performed to dial in and tune the K40.
Hokieglock, Thanks. I was flying for a short while and thought that the charts would make a good backdrop for the picture. I stopped a little bit ago. I found it so much fun flying solo that I spent more hours in the air by myself than with the instructor. I should just finish it out. I need 2 cross countries and take my written and my exam. You?

Man I'm so sorry to hear about that. Are you going to try and go back to American? What were you flying in the Air Force?

I love the Galaxy! Must have been strange to transition from a Galaxy to a Spartan and vice versa due to their size differences.

actually first flew the spartan(can't believe you know that), we called it the chuck27 from 91-93, then the galaxy (we call it fred), then the t-34 as an instructor in p'cola. you know your planes.

I'm a Navy Brat. My father retired from NAS Jacksonville in 1989. I loved air shows and aviation.
I had Kahr put the XS Big Dot night sights on my PM9 a year ago. They only charged me for the cost of the sights. The Tritium tube on the rear post must be easy to damage. It sits down into the dovetail. The rear post has been a little weak from day one and finally died. I called Deb at Kahr and they will take care of it for me. I sent off the slide only via USPS insured for $270. at a cost of $8.00. I say let Kahr put them on for you. I sure miss my PM9, it's the ultimate conceal carry.

Trust me dude, I know what you're going through! I overnighted my PM40 slide last this past Tuesday for a "peening" problem I was starting to develope and they told me to send it in and they'd fix it for me. So I'm thinking of getting a G27 today to hold me over during my PM downtime. I'm having them install night sights on it as well. I think it's more for the neatness of saying "hey, I got night sights" than anything. At night I'd rather have a laser. I think I'm going to design a "Crimson Trace" type laser for my PM40. Do you think anyone would like a decal lasergrip for their PM's?????
Look out for my tactical rails for the PM's as well, should be big hit!!!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
