View Full Version : PM40 Slide Stop Spring Replacement ?
I did a search with no results. Does anyone know where one might find instructions on replacing a slide stop spring. It doesn't look hard, but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone can help.
Thanks.

The first couple of posts "Michigan" does an illustration called "detail stripping the Kahr's upper" and a complete take down of the Slide Assembly. Hope this helps.

Not hard, not hard at ALL rcsc514! (The hardest part about this job is finding the little "star-head" tool for removing the screw!)
All ya have to do is unscrew part #30, remove old part #29, drop in new part #29 & screw back in (Careful not to cross-thread!) part # 30. (Takes about 1 minute if ya take your time. ^c)
Here's an up-close view of the parts in question as they sit installed:

Here's the exploded view of the frame as found on www.kahrshop.com:

A close up view of part #29 by itself:

It REALLY is just that simple. ^c
Michigun, thanks for the great illustration. I already have the star tool. If anyone doesn't have one, Sears sells them for $2.00.
You guys are great. Thanks again.
