I have a g23 and hate the stock sights. My g27 has trijicons and I talked to customer service at Glockmeister and she said the Mepro's were a better sight. They are cheeper, Bigger dots and glass fronts. The only thing I see around here is Trijicons. Is this because Glock uses these from factory or are they better. My 23 is my home defense gun with the glocklight and the addition of night sights when I decide.
I got Trijicons on my 26 and I got Meprolights on my 27.
Trijicons are filled with paint around the tritium tubes and you can see that the paint is all gone.
Meprolights are filled with plastic so it makes it more resistant and the dots are bigger and brighter.
I would recommend MEPROLIGHTS.

I installed mepro's on my 19 and 26. I had a 19 with Trijicon's. I like the Mepro's better. Like the poster above me stated, the Mepro's are bigger/brighter and are also cheaper.

+1 for the Meprolights!^c Both Trijicons and Meps are great nights sights..... but I honestly see the brightness difference with the Meps.

Meprolight all the way for sure. I've had Trijicons up until now and realize that the Meps are cheaper and have a Superior Sight Picture. And of course, the Dots are Brighter and Larger.

I wouldn't say Meps are built better but I do like the brighter glow. I have Meps on 5 of my 7 guns.

Mepro seems to be winning. Trijicon is a good choice as well.
Just don't get gun cleaning solvent on these night sights as the solven can desolve the paint (as well as the plastic) on the sights.
I think the meps are better
What are peoples' experience with sight picture and target aquisition in the daylight? Meprolights versus Trijicons, that is. Oh, and being a compulsive gun cleaner, twice a week realistically, how long can I expect to see the white paint on a set of Trijicons?

No matter how you slice it,Trijicon is the superior sight.
The daytime sight picture is better because there is a better 'gap ratio' around the front sight.
The inserts are brighter and definitely much more focused.
Put them side by side and you will see the superiour quality of the Trijicons.
The Meprolights would be my absolute last choice for nightsights, even the Ameriglo,Novak, and Heinies are better,IMO.
Meprolights use epoxy encapsuleated vials which blurs the light.
That, and I hate the HUGE distracting white dots.
I should add....
The last two sets of Trijicons I've purchased don't seem to have painted rings.
I've tried very hard to scrub them off and it appears that the white outlines are now actually silicone, not paint.
I have MEPS on my Glock 26 and trijicons on my duty gun (Berretta 92d) and to tell you the truth, it is hard to tell them apart. Both are great, I just got back from NOLA and everyones Berretta held up to the lousy condition and at night you could really appreciate the night sites.
As for my 26, the meps on it are great no problems what so ever. As a matter of fact I am about to get another set for a Glock 19 that I just got.
If you had two pistols next to each other, one with meps and the other with trijicons, you would be hard pressed to figure out at a glance which is which.
Long story short, you cant go wrong either way. I guess my two cents doesn't help at all.

Out of those two, I'd go with the Meps, but I'm not the one shooting with it. Go with what you like.
I like TruGlo sights the best. They have both tritium and fiber optic. I have mepro's and trujicon the Mepros are the better of the 2 but I still prefer TruGlo TFO sights. you can get them at most websites . Try www.auto-laser.com or Top Glock
