i am looking to find information on silencers. is there any website that i can find extensive information on silencers, the different kind of silencers, (wet, dry) and how they each work. this has been of long interest to me. even though i love the way silencers look on pistols, i will never be able to own one, since i live in the F'd up state of Calikornia.

Another good source for suppressor informaton are books -- especially "Silencer -- History and Perfomrance" Volume One and Two, author: Alan C. Paulson. You might also check out a book by N.R. Parker, "Firearm Suppressor Patents." Another little dated, but still interesting book is, "Modern Firearm Silencers" by J. David Truby.
