Georgia Arms Gold Dot jamming?

Hi all - Just bought a pile of GA Arms practice flat point ammo and a few bags of GA Arms Gold Dot (in .357 Sig of course...)

I got both to break in a new Glock 32. The flat points work without fail, but the GA Arms Gold Dots have a FTF almost once every magazine. The FTF is easily fixed with a slight slide pull and release.

Glocks just don't jam (for the most part), so I am assuming that maybe there is a case sizing or crimp issue with the GM Arms Gold Dot ammo. I am going to try some Speer factory Gold Dot to see if that is different, just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue with the Glock 32 and Gold Dots from GA Arms or any other ammo manufacturer. I will also try some DoubleTap as there seems to be a lot of positive feedback on that ammo here.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any opinions of similar experiences. I am a newbie to this forum and looking forward to lots of active participation. Have a good bit of experience shooting and reloading, but new to GlockTalk. Great site by the way.

I've been using Georgia Arms 357 SIG ammo for a couple of years now in my G33.

When the gun was new and not broken in, it would jam on the FMJ ammo, but run the gold dots without a problem. Now that I have a couple of thousands rounds through it, it runs with anything.

Give it some break in time - I think it'll be fine. If not, send it back to Glock, it should feed one of the best bullets made for the 357 sig.

I had a situation that sounds identical to yours. Except, my G33 already had several hundred rounds shot through it. I had bought a buttload of Georgia Arms FMJ and Gold Dots. I had a feeding problem. The round would get jammed between the bottom of the feed ramp and the slide during cycling. Even, on rare occasion, the FMJ. I tried alot of other manufacturers (including factory fresh Speer GD) with zero malfunctions. Just the Georgia Arms gave me problems. But, since I had alot of ammo from Georgia Arms (and it's impossible for me to leave anything stock ;)) I did alittle customizing by increasing the strength of the springs in my magazines (+10%), added a stronger recoil spring (22 lbs), and put in a KKM barrel. Now, the little monster consumes anything I put in it (including all Georgia Arm reloads) ;f .
So, in brief, it's probably just your GA ammo.

I've put small amounts of both types from them through my 32 with no problems. Only 50 rounds of factory ammo was used before GA arms stuff. Workin great so far.

I had great luck with GA Gold Dots in .40 and .45 , haven't been to a gun show to pick up any .357 SIG. But my G32 feeds Speer loaded gold dots just fine.
