NS installing question

Has anyone had a set of night sights put on that didn't come out right? I remember when I had the owner of my local gun shop put them on my 26. He said to take it to the range and if need be come back for any adjustments. The sights were right on and it seemed for him to be pretty easy. He did look at me funny when I asked if he was going to bore sight it with a laser or anything? He just said "no its a Glock and it'll be fine." He was right. I have a buddy who bought a H&K P2000 and had the shop (a shop in another town) put the night sights on. They had to give him a diffrent gun because they said they bent the barrel. No joke that is what they told him and they gave him a diffrent P2000, and told him to come back in a week when a diffrent guy would be there to put the sights on.

So has anyone had a horror story from getting nightsights put on?
