Well, I finally picked everything up from Bobby Carver yesterday, a true Gentleman I might add and a pleasure to talk with. Bye the time I left, I was taking home a wealth of information along with my new parts. If you are looking at hooking up your Glock either as a true fun gun or for competition, I highly recommend the products that Bobby Carver sells. I might add, his mount is rock solid and believe it would withstand a nuclear blast, it's that tight.
Along with my order was a modified CR Speed holster to complete the package for now. After being home for about an hour and a half, I had everything installed and was practicing my draw and couldn't wait until today to be out at the club.
My only concern was if the gun would clear the brass since I never sent the slide off to have the ejection port lowered the recommended .100".
Well, I couldn't be happier, everything went flawlessly (about 300rnds. worth) and the gun is an absolute joy to shoot fast. All brass cleared on ejection, but I have decided to go ahead and send the slide off to Novac and have the ejection port lowered. It would be my luck to have a piece of brass not clear in a match.
This is a whole new world to me and I'm lov'n it!;f

Here's another. I think the ploished slide help the gun cycle quicker, it just seemed to RIP back and forth.;f ;f
I think some of the guys at my club don't really know what to make of me.

I just received an email from Bobby answering a question about his "Hunter" version of the mount. I'm going to be putting together a G34 "Fun Gun" in a few weeks and have settled on the Carver Hunter & C-More combination to negate the need to lower the ejection port. I don't see where the additional height will pose any problems.

D., the only reason I didn't go with the Hunter version was because I wanted to keep the C-More as close as possible to the original sight plane. I kinda look at it this way for me, the less change I make, the easier transition it will be going back to a stock gun like my 17 and 34
Post some pics when ya get it together.

Will do. I am purchasing through a LE dealer (about 100 miles away) and they don't keep the G34 in stock...they say 6 weeks or so for delivery. I plan to use the Red|Black combo Carver and likely, the black C-More. If the "red" used by Carver matched that used by C-More I'd go that route but the two "reds" are radically different.
I chose the Hunter for a couple of reasons. First, I'd prefer not to alter the pistol permanently and second, this G34 is purely for play. Bob's reply on the Hunter version said the additional 1/4 inch height makes ejection a non-issue which, pretty well nailed down my decision. They seem to be really good folks to deal with.

Yepper, Mr. and Mrs. Carver will definately get my business again.
Have you thought about just getting the red C-More and finding a good, durable paint to match C-Mores red. I compared a black mount to the silver side by side and opted to stick w/ the silver cause of the contrast, figured I could always paint it down the road if I wanted to.
6 weeks to get a 34, whoah.
Some things that Bobby pointed out to me about the mount dealt w/ the screws. One thing is don't wrench down on them when you go to tighten them, just use some locktite and just snug them, another thing is to place the tip of a soddering iron on the head of the screw for a couple of seconds before u begin to loosen them, that way it will loosen up the locktite.

I did exactly the same thing bro. I received my stuff today and installed everything as soon as i opened it. Ill post pics ASAP. I also used the 34 and was thinking about adding the tungsten guiderod, but when you get the mount and C-more installed i think the weight will be more than enough. Ill probably add the magwell for balance, but otherwise this seems sweet like it is.

Ordered my G34 today...should be in early November. The LE models (if not in dealer stock) take a while longer due to coming direct from Glock rather than distribution.

Both are Caspian--top is cut by Tom Novak and Hard Chromed by Tripp Research--the bottom was relieved and baked on cote by a fellow in Dayton Ohio.

I too had a very good experience with Bobby Carver. I elected to get the Hunter model so I could keep my adj. sites and be back to stock in minutes.

Here are a few pics of my 34 UL gun pictured with Carver Hunter Mount and C-More red dot optic. Bobby Carver is a great guy to do business with. I highly recommend him and Brenda to anyone.

What is the website for Carver Mounts? I am very impressed with the few pics posted here. Great looking guns and I'm interested in the Carver for my 34.
Thanks
