conclusion of "bad" ismi spring..(slide follow)

ok, i posted a while back about a ismi 13lb. spring. it was letting my slide get pulled out of battery about 1/8th inch when dry firing. the stock striker spring was overpowering the recoil spring.

i ordered some new springs from CGR. well, after shooting 400rnds. with a lighter striker spring and new ismi 13. it doesnt follow anymore. EVEN when i switched back to the STOCK striker spring.

i think who ever posted that was right. their was a bad batch of springs without heat treat or something... matter of fact my orig. ismi's were a diff. color than the new ones....

Send an e-mail to ISMI. I did and they sent me 4 new one free. I didn't even have to pay shipping. Great cust. service

i hate to dog em..but it was terrible! AT BEST! i talked to the tech guy. and basically he had no knowledge of how his springs operate in a glock. he could not understand what was happening/never heard of it before. he then told me to contacto glockmeister for some tech help since hes the "glock guy"... that was even less successfull and even more frustrating than the first phone call!

and no ismi didnt offer me any free springs or anything.
luckily i just said screw it, cause i wanted the springs enough and bought them from CGR. figuring if their was a problem he would at least take care of it....
