I saw one used a few months ago. I didn't have the cash so I couldnt' do it, but I'm wondering if I should be on the look out for another one in the future.
I need a .308 bolt for deer/etc. I liked the feel of it. It was in great shape and $300. As soon as I walked out the door, I was already regretting not getting it.

Should I look for another one, or find something else in .308?

I don't think you should be looking for another one. When you see that used #1s are in the $450-$550 range (or more!) you'll end up an emotional wreck for not finding a way to buy the one you saw for $300.

Only kidding. :) They're great rifles. If you can find another one for that price jump on it!

;b Ya, you botched it in not picking up that #1; for $300.

There are only two types of #1s - the ones that shoot like tack drivers and the ones that can be made to do so. And, .308 is a wonderful caliber.
