Any SKS gunsmiths in Southern CA area?

I need to find a smith who can remove my (cut-down to 16 1/4") barrel, turn it down, replace the front sight and re-install the barrel. Is this common gunsmith stuff? I went to one place and they said it takes a special tool to press the barrel out, And they didn't have one. Thanks

Try calling King's Gun Works. They are highly respected and do a lot of 'smithing.
