Big treat at the range yesterday!

I was at the local sportsman's club to do our annual rifle qual and was working with one of our officers on her handgun marksmanship when another member showed up to shoot the rifle in the pics below.....and he let me shoot it too! (and take some pics) ;f

The ONLY thing 'wrong' with this rifle is the fact that it doesn't belong to me!

dang, i always wanted a johnson, still do. i saw a danish import one at a show about a year back for $2500. had i known what i know now about those rifles, i would have gone home and started sellin guns till i had the money.

When I was about 12, I walked into a gun shop with my father. There on the floor was a rack with about twenty johnsons lined up. The price back then was $150. My dad had a high regard for the johnson, even though he used an M1 in europe in WW2--But not that high a regard. How I wish he had bought one...
