I've almost got my M4 flatop done and I'm already thinking about my next AR. ;f ;g I plan on getting a stripped lower or two to stash. Other than that what else should I get? Complete rifle? Complete upper?

Ammo to practice with?
a 20" might go nicely with a 16", no?
ammo is always in season.

I've got plenty of ammo and mags, plus I'm adding more when funds allow.
I was thinking a 20". Flatop or irons? Govt profile?
20" A2 for high power.
24" bull barrel with 3-12x or 6-24x scope for long range precision.

This was my second AR. My first one was an M4 so I wanted something totally different. Flat top IS ALWAYS THE WAY TO GO when you are going to think about optics.
It's a Stag lower/upper, Colt 1/7 govt profile barrel, Bushmaster 2 stage trigger, and the rest of the parts are RRA.
I wanted it to be more accurate than my M4, so other than the Bushmaster two stage trigger, I installed free floated handguards. They are carbon fiber to save on weight. Originally, I had gone with an HBAR, but after a couple outings with it, I just couldn't handle the weight. The switch to govt profile saved me a whole pound and really helped to balance it out.
The optic in the pic is an ACOG, but I sold my other one, and put the TA31 in the picture here on my M4. I just bought a Leupold 3x9 for this gun, so I just need to buy some scope rings and mount.
Thinking about a bipod.
I just put together a mid length. They weigh a littler more than the M4 but I am pleased with it. I am planning on ordering another one in green as soon as Eagle gets some more in stock.
i've got a flat top M4 now with 11.5 bbl, 5.5 f/h, and a tele stock. it's a little SOB. the only thing i plan to do to it is get a flashlight on it and leave it at that.
next i want to pick up a 24" bull barrel with nice optics. i would like something that will reach out a little better and look totally different too.

Gorelicks, very nice......except for the carbon fiber;f
Well I went with my gut instinct and ordered a 20" govt profile flatop. Bravo Co had some built by CMT/Stag. Looks like they sold out of their 1/7's pretty quick. Don't know why folks go nuts over them, probably just cause they're rare. Doesn't matter to me since I just shoot XM193 and the like.
