Is it true that aimsurplus.com only sells to C&R holders?

We've bought a ton of ammo from them, and we don't have a C&R.

However, to get firearms you need to have them shipped to an FFL.

Just so that there is no confusion, you will need either a C&R or go through an FFL to get a firearm.

You can purchase the rifle over the phone or online, but they must SHIP the rifle to a FFL dealer that they have on file. Then go to your FFL when said firearms arrives, pay transfer fee, fill out gov tracking form and take rifle home and be happy!:)

last thing i got was a pair of albanian sks's. bought them directly from aim, but they had to ship to FFL. got my C&R not far after since it cost less than the shop charged me to transfer those 2 guns.

If you travel through southern Ohio, you can just stop in and buy a rifle, unless there is a local law in your state which prevents that. I was recently down in the area for my job and stopped in to buy a K31, which I am very happy with. The only downside is they charge $15 for the NICS check on non-ffl/C&R holders. I didn't pay for "hand-pick" or anything--didn't have to. The first rifle he pulled out of a box showed hardly any blue wear and the normal stock dings, plus had a sling, which they normally charge for. It also had the owners tag under the butt plate. I have just sent a letter to the previous owner. Since the stock didn't look as good as the metal, I gave it a light cleaning and re-shellaced it. Now it looks great!, Shoots great too! If you guys havn't bought a K31, you are missing one of the nicest rifles ever made!

Great people IMO. I am a regular buyer and do not have an FFL or C&R, however I just work 5 minutes from them and live about 20 minutes from them.
