I took my Norinco 1911A1 MEU(SOC) clone (all I need is an park job, ambi-safety and the sights and it'll be a dead ringer)to my dept range last night and couldn't believe how good it shot. At 15 yards it was dead on and fed everything put thru it. I can't say enough about it and it suprised quite a few people there. If anyone wants a gun to just shoot for pleasure as a plinker, etc., get a Norinco.
It would be nice to see them imported again.
I bought one last year and it was surprised by the accuracy and reliability. I also have a Kimber TLE and I still enjoy shooting the Norinco a little bit more and it shoots just as good. I would like to upgrade it but its working just fine right now.

Norinco 45s rock!! ;c
I also bought one awhile back,it's the 1911a1 parkerized version. It was almost like new.I took it to the range with me last week along with a 1943 colt 1911a1 and a series 70 colt .All three shot great.Who needs a new springfield a1 when the Norinco's are still around .;)
so they tend to be priced too high
