According to 2 suppliers I deal with (AIM Surplus is one of them), Swiss K31's are a thing of the past, as there are no more being imported. If anyone wants to own one of these fine firearms, better get it now, or be prepared to pay higher prices.
Wish I had more than 2, and money to add to my collection.

Dang it! I knew I should have got more than nine of them!;f Coulda made it an even 10, but Noooo. BTW those who didn't get one sure did miss out on a great rifle.
i got 4, all without the new century arms billboard across the receiver. should have got 8.

mines got no century billboard. i love the rifle, its action cycles so smooth, it feels like there is no mag in it. the only complaint i have about it is that the ammo runs out too fast.

I have two of them. One beech stock and one walnut stock. In my opinion the K31 is without a doubt dollar for dollar one of the best mil-surplus rifles there is. If not the best for the money.
From what I have read about them there wasn't that many of them made to start with so one would expect the supply to dry up pretty quickly. If I am not mistaken Aim Surplus still has them.
i use this chart to determin numbers of production for a given year.

k31's are towards the bottom of the page with the late 30's being some of the better years. happy hunting

I checked AIM's website and they still have the K31's listed.

Century and AIM both still have them, but there are apparently no more for import, so if you want them, fet 'um now.
I'm interested in a K31, from what I've read it a high quality firearm and very accurate, but the cost of ammo has me a little concerned.
Most of the 7.5Swiss I've seen for sale is quality ammo, Swiss made, but costs $150/400 or so. That isn't bad if there is a big supply, but what will happen 2 years from now?
The thing I like about military surplus is the low cost of ammo for guns like the MN1891/30 and the SKS.
What do you guys think?

Cheaperthandirt has the new "gold line" (brass case/boxer primed) Wolff 7.5x55 ammo in stock now. Hornady makes some good huntring loads for it too. It's well worth getting.

I too, have been unable to find the swiss wolf ammo. I emailed them mid-summer and they said it would be available this fall, but it is still not on their web site (http://www.wolfammo.com/1_rifle.htm)

Search engines are good for this type of stuff.

Guys, like I said above, it's here:
Cheaper than Dirt (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ctd/product.asp?sku=AMM%2D940&thru=fr&mscssid=U6N10E21665S9LC4V4P7UBPVDDJ1BK58)
I just added some to a cart and they listed "118" boxes left in inventory. I am not sure I'll bother with it though, as I have plenty of GP-11 and Hornady ammo & brass on hand. If any of you gets any, let us know how it shoots. My guess is it's the same as the Prvi Partisan stuff. ;c

Rigormootis and partyguy816,
Great find! I'm surprised that Wolf has failed to update their website yet.
But ... I got a case (480 rounds) of the surplus stuff for $144. I was thinking that wold wolf be cheeper? At cheeper than dirts price, a case of wolf would be $235. Looks like I'm sticking with the surplus stuff for a while.
Thanks for finding the new wolf stuff, Rigormootis and partyguy816.
Still cheaper at Dan's Ammo.
2 cases last month still came in about $40 less than Ammoman even after shipping from one coast to the other. :)
