I shot a Kimber Raptor today!

A man walked up to me today and asked if I would like to shoot his new gun. I said sure. He pulls out an absolutely B-E-A-Utiful 1911 made by kimber with some unusual serrations on the front and rear of the slide.

He handed me a box of his reloads and said have at it. Who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth?

The trigger was nice and the gun functioned perfectly with his reloads. The handgun was extremely accurate and easy to shoot.

I have a very positive opinion of the Raptor.

Anyone else shot one?

Yeah I've seen them in person too. And while I agree, saying they look nicer in person than any photo is IMO not unlike saying rosie o'donnel looks nicer in person than any photo.
