I'd sure love to know what kind of QC issues there could be with a recoil spring plug and guide, firing pin spring, and slotted grip screws. Changing parets out because of a personal preferance doesn't mean it is bad QC. Sounds to me like you bought a low end gun (GI model) and are looking for high end parts. Now if you really want to see some neat QC issues, you should have bought a Kimber series II! ;f
