I'm here in MD so while the rest of you get to enjoy your $11 30rd mags I'm stuck hunting for 20rd mags.
I want to know where the deals are (I don't want LEO marked mags) and I'm wondering what to look for. For example, what is the consensus on straight 20's vs. curved 20's like the new Bushmaster mags?
They all work just fine, however, the curved mags like Bushmaster sells will not fit into GI pouches. A good source for 20 rounders is Brownells or go over to ar15.com as they always have some for sale.

Thanks, Sierra. Are these Brownell brand mags (http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=21225&title=AR-15%2fM16+HIGH+CAPACITY+MAGAZINES) the same quality (and reliability) as the other big names out there?
EDIT - and which spring is better: the Chrome Silicon Spring or MIL-STD SS Spring?
I don't have any of Brownells 20 rounders so I have no first hand knowledge of their performance but I do have some of their 30 rounders and they are every bit as good as any I have ever seen excepting the H&K $45.00 magazines.
I don't think it makes any difference what so ever what kind of springs you have in the magazines. I have quite a few GI 20 rounders with the original springs from the late 1960's that still work just fine. No doubt the new chrome ones are certainly excellent but anything over Mil-Spec is gravy as far as I am concerned.
