an MK9. I have two K9's.
If I didn't live in Massachusetts (where a dealer can not sell a Kahr made after October 21, 1998...:() I think I would own every model.
;e
Sounds like its time to leave MA. I left NY for OR and ain't going back.
More seriously though, why can't you get a new Kahr?
You will love it! It is a fun gun to shoot!! What laws does Mass. have that regulates Kahrs?

The good 'ole Massachusetts Gun Control Act of 1998 says that no new handguns may be sold in the state by dealers unless they meet the stringent "safety" criteria of the State Police and our left wing Attorney General.
The Staties say the Kahr is OK, but the AG doesn't.

If the MK9 is as fun as my K9's - I'll agree!!! I didn't buy it expecting it to be fun though, just to carry, and I expected that it's smaller size will mean some more recoil.

I think you'll be nicely surprised by how nice the MK9 is to shoot. Right after I bought mine, I took her to the range and put 300 rounds of assorted ammo through, including some +p. It was as much fun as shooting my G19. As a matter of fact, my G19* did not even get a mag shot through her that day because I was having too much fun with the little Kahr.

So I guess that would be considered a dealer Post sample? J/K

Excellent - that sounds good - I shoot +P+ through my K9's - the MK9 is steel also - will it take that kind of workout? ^3

They're not illegal for a civilian to possess, just illegal for a dealer to transfer.
So you can't buy one over GunsAmerica and send it to your local Mass dealer - he can't let you have it.
If you moved into Mass, you can take whatever handguns you want here (provided that they are not also "Assault Weapons" - the Federal ban lives on here - but that's another story....)
Frankly, living in this state, I just think it's a small miracle that I'm just a regular Joe Schmoe and still can get a License to Carry.
I just wish it was a P9 Covert that I could carry....

I intend to find out just how much shooting the MK9 can take. I consider it a fun range gun as well as my primary CC piece. It is even more fun in a way than my G19.
The true beauty of 9mm - I can shoot as much of it as I have the time to shoot!
