I believe DPMS makes one too. I have a buddy that has one. Freakin expensive. I think Stag would be your best bet.

+1
Although I don't think it's totally necessary to go with the lefty upper. I'd stick with the standard. I have a few lefty friends who shoot the standard AR (with brass deflector) just fine.
I shoot my 'regular' AR lefty w/o any problem... only thing that worries me is the idea that a kaboom would probably vent most of the kaboom towards my face.

Those who think you can shoot a std AR lefty haven't shot a lefty AR as a righty.
I took a bit of brass off my cheek and another off my ear. I'd not like that if I was a lefty. The friend who is a lefty won't shoot my righty after watching me get pelted with his brass. LOL

+ a million. Especially because I have to "roll my own" for highpower competition.

The only two ARs that I've seen blown up, that I KNOW were caused by high-pressure loads, both blew-out the left side of the upper receiver. The majority of the gas went downward, out the mag/mag well.
I don't worry about it as much since seeing those guns.

I have, it's pretty easy but you'll have to buy some tools.
I'm "in the same boat" as you.
I'm right hand, left eye dominant, and have shot long guns left handed all my life. I've had a few AR's over the years, and never had a problem.
I am considering a Stag Arms right now, but not sure if I want to go with the left hand model or not. I guess I'm just concerned that having a left hand model will limit my availability to find a few small parts if I need to compared to the right hand version.
Needless to say, I have not heard one bad comment about the Stag, whether it was right or left hand. Hmmmm....decisions decisions...
