Well I shot for the first time a 357 sig. After reading a lot finally at the range someone had a glock 32 and let me shoot 10 rds.
I was expecting far more recoil. It felt pretty tame. It felt less than .40 . Blast was about the same as .40 , not bad at all.
[ammo was S&B 125gr]
Accuracy, as good as any glock.
Overall I liked it.
It certainly doesnt feel as violent as Federal's 125gr 357 magnum. It isnt even close [well revolvers recoil more than semi autos in general and glocks are about the softest shooting pistols out there]
Its a great option for those who dont want to be looking for +p or +p+ 9mm all the time, or for lightweight .40 SW loads.
With 357 sig any load has plenty of power and all seem pretty powerful from data ive read] , with 9mm some loads produce 290 ft-lb others 420, with .40 some ~360 up to 500 in some more "exotic" loads. So one always looks for some special load. With 357 pick any 125gr load and its around the 500 ft-lb mark.
