View Full Version : Factory Mistake?

Picked up my NIB G19 on Friday, and I noticed it came with an extended slide release installed already. Did Glock make a mistake, or is it something that they're doing from the factory now? I think she is really freshly made, as I can't find the serial number (HMK) on any "date your glock" posts or pages. I planned on adding the extended slide release anyway, so i guess I just got lucky. Thanks.

I also have a HMK series Glock 19, it has the standard slide release/lock.
I have seen a few new ones at dealers with the ext lever, but it is probably more of an assembly issue. Out of one kind, use the other.

The new G26 I handled at the local gunstore seemed to have a 3.5# connector already installed.
Not sure of the serial, but it was brand new.
My Glock 19 HMK gun is also a LEO gun, how about the rest of you guys ?

Wow, what a bonehead. I didn't even know my cartridge shell envelope had a date on it. I've been too busy staring at my glock.
"Date Collected: 09/8/2005" I guess I know when to have a birthday for her next year.
What's the "blue label" difference?
