A different sort of holster question

Here's my problem. My old body is getting cranky and I have arthritis in my knees. I am also left handed.

Thus, when I get out of the Kahr I have to wiggle and twist and grunt and groan. I'm swiping the mag release button on my Kahr (and on my G19) and releasing the mag. This didn't happened before when I was more agile. Since the mag release button is on the left, I'm pushing it against the car seat.

So - what's a good left handed holster that covers the mag release button.

You still driving that ca. 1993 teal civic hatchback? Maybe a larger car would give you more room to manouver without rubbing up against the left seat bolster.

I don't remember whether you find kydex acceptable but it might be worth calling comp-tac down in Houston and asking whether they would be willing to add a small bump or exetension to one of their holsters in order to obtain the mag release protection you desire.

Thanks, Jeff - from a $120 holster, I go to a $20K car.

I have found that my Glock brand Polymer holster covers the mag release but that doesn't help the Kahr.
