Dottie shipped my a new recoil spring and assembly which was about a half inch longer. Gun feels a little tighter, but I am having the same problems. If I dont rack the pistol real hard, it will labor to feed.
I polished the feedramp.
What is the next step in curing the Kahr. Will there ever be a point where I can trust this thing with my life?

Sorry I forgot, but if you couldn't guess, it's a PM9.

When I got my PM9 it had major problems jamming or not going to full battery. On mine, it wound up that the extractor was not moving freely, I think because it was either jammed or not lubed well. I placed a good quantity of oil where the extactor and the front extractor pin come together then worked the extractor itself manually with a small screwdriver and worked the oil both into the pin joint and where the extractor meets the body.
This allowed the cartridge to move under the extractor properly instead of the extractor holding it back which was causing either no feeds or as you would say labourious feeds. That eliminated my feeding problem. I also changed the spring after that and since then my PM9 has be flawless.
Just a possibility.
