I've got a std one I've never mounted on a flattop. I've GOT a flattop, and working on one or two more (don't ask) but I see on the Bushy site that you need a higher front post. Yes? No? HAven't read that anywhere else I believe. (Granted, I haven't read the instructions that came with it in 2 years - I let a buddy take a look at it - I'm getting it back on Saturday. LOL)
On the ARMS website, they talk about the difference between the 40 and the 40 low-profile. Something about the zero's being different between the two apetures? I have no idea what they mean.
I'm hoping someone can explain in english what they all mean. And has anyone TRIED the low-profile one? I would think it would be more out-of-the way in a "get banged up if it sticks up too much while folded" sorta way.
Thanks for any primers on this sight. I'm just confused at this point. :)
