Tele-stock removal and installation?

I want to put a single point sling plate on my AR and will need to remove and re-install the tele stock.

I know I need the special tool (looks like a basic spanner wrench to me), but how do I do this?

Any tips or tricks or is it pretty basic? Explain it to me like I'm a 3 year old. ;)
