round count estimation

Anyone want to give an estamate of the rounds fired through a G19?

Didn't have a pistol to blast with the friend at the range, so I bought a like new GCW series and I love it.

Born on 4/04 and came with 2 15rd. #5 mags.

The only wear on the pistol was at the top of the barrel at the bevel.
The two corners were "polished". I've shot 250 rounds now and the bevel edge is polished all the way across.

would it be fair to say the gun had < 250rds. thru before I got her?

still has some factory goo.

If i had to guess I wold have to say i have between 40-50 thousand rounds. I've had the gun since 1998, and i've been carrying the gun for duty use for the past year. It starting to show some wear, lots of scratches on the grips, and some barrel hood wear. Out of the 40-50 thousand rounds i have ONE failure to feed during the first 500 or so rounds. It is simply amazing.

20k. in a F series g19c. no jams of anykind. I ccw gun daily, and it really shows no wear either.
