A quick Leupold service review

I sent a handgun scope back to leupold toget it refocus for a shorter distance and cleaned up. They did the work for all under $30.00 or to be exact $29.99 ;)

They sent ack whent they received it and a status email indicating it would be completed in less than 7days and by golly they did just that. One fine company and great post-sales services and I guess that's why I have 4 of their other scopes on various guns.


Just thought I'll let you know. I plan on sending another scope in to get the recticle changed. I'll post on how that goes but it should be just as good, quick and professional.

The only other scope mfg that I had to use their post-sales services/support was Nikon and all I have to say is they have a great scope and do provide warranty/maintenance but I recall the turn around was something like 26 days from the time that they "received it" vrs leupold had my scope back to me in like 9days and tha include the return shipping time.

It should be; thanks for reaffirming my experience with Leupold. Their service is one of those things you pay for that don't get mounted on the gun. I've only had to use them once to check out a windage gear on a scope (of the several Leupolds I have) that has been thru some pretty rough times over the years. Had them change the reticle at the same time. Hardly missed the scope it was gone for such a short time & the charge was only for the reticle & my dime to get it to Oregon.

In relation to the quality of Nikon's glass I think many of the Leupold models have gotten a bit pricier over the years - but for me they're the optics benchmark of standing behind their product.
