View Full Version : Dawson Fiber Optic Front Sight with Glock Adjustable Rear
Has anyone tried this combination? How well does it work and does it offer a good sight picture?

The factory plastic adjustable is based on stock front sight height and may not have enough adjustment range to accomodate the taller Dawson front. (Ask Dawson if they have any feedback on this combo.)
You can call Dawson and order a front sight to match the stock glock height.

On a G34 I have the narrow (approx .105" wide) Dawson Precision front optic sight with the Glock factory adjustable rear sight. I have not yet sighted it in, but it looks nice.
I am also concerned there may not be enough elevation adjustment available. I will let you know how it sights in.
(I also got a Heine Slant Pro for the rear, but I couldn't get it on even using a sledge hammer; unresolved issue.)
Fortunately you won't need to adjust the rear sight if you buy the correct size from Dawson.
Works great for IDPA.
